Welcome to Camp Lajas

Camp Lajas (la-haas) is a Catholic wilderness adventure camp for high school students at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Camp and Retreat Center in Western PA. We invite young men and women to be immersed in the wilderness, and there to encounter the healing and redemptive power of Christ. Here, we sleep in teepees, receive the Eucharist under a canopy tent, pray from our kayaks, and wake up believing every day is an adventure. We "set out into the deep" together so that students may experience, with confidence, that they are beloved sons and daughters of God.
